The Electric Sky Podcast was created by Third Storey Productions as a general interest program with specific formatting restrictions and presentation style. Two primary program formats were developed:

• Portrait is a weekly, short format program that offers a narrow field of view about a particular subject, person, event or theme, in 10 minutes or less.

• Landscape is a 30 minute program in which individual segments contribute to a more broad view of a subject. Each edition is in the form of a magazine, documentary, or investigative radio show.

Celebrity guests of Electric Sky include Patch Adams, Dame Edna, Steven Page, Stewart Copeland and His Holiness Sri Sri Ravi Shankar.
